Winter’s Coming

There’s been so much happening since my last post at the end of August when I released the latest single from my very personal side project, Heckyl. It was ‘Bubblegum’ and like the 4 other singles released during 2021 I’m pleased that it got a great reaction from you all and the media. In other news and…

With my mixer / producer hat I’ve worked on singles for:

  • Shaun Johnson. An amazing Emmy award singer I was lucky enough to be chosen to produce his single, ‘This Old Man’ that was released in September. Click on the link, it’s a really touching song. Love it!
  • Then there was another single, ‘Creep In The Sun’ by my very good friend, Ryan Inglis. This is such a fun track! We’re working on lots more music so please follow him for his news.
  • Ryan also co-wrote a single for talented singer songwriter, Ellie Benn, titled ‘Time Flies’ that I produced and I think it turned out great.
  • Jubillee is a Scottish band that plays Nashville country pop. They have an amazing following and recently re-released their debut album with a couple of additional tracks. I was lucky enough to co-write the two new songs (‘I Can’t Breathe Without You’ and ‘Out Of Reach’) with a great writer, Gary Miller, and I got to produce them too!
  • There’s been so much new music from my Bro, Jacob Browne, too including his recent single ‘Like A Rose’ that I’m so proud of and his album, ‘People Change’.  I co-wrote many of the songs with Jacob, and produced the album too! Look out for new music coming in January 2022.

Then, as a songwriter, an awesome band, Carry The Crown, recorded ‘Head Above Water’, a song I wrote a while back with my good friends Johannes Willinder and Robin Padam. Matt O’Grady, who is a legend and has worked with so many great artists including with one of my fave bands ever, You Me At Six, produced it. It’s out now and I think it’s amazing!

There’s lots more on the way including some new Heckyl and Luke Potter music and more collaboration / producer projects. Looking forward to 2022 and I wish you all only good things too!
